Movement Creates Change

Haraka Baraka activates movement — in bodies, organisations and communities — to create more just, playful and connected futures.

We work with people, places, and communities to imagine futures rooted in movement-based exploration. From playable and skateable sculptures in public spaces, to embodied training that transforms how teams work, to international artist solidarity — our work centres freedom, imagination and collective care.

People Moving

Embodied learning for connection, creativity and collective intelligence.

We help groups shift out of habitual patterns and into new ways of thinking, collaborating and leading. Our movement-led workshops support organisations, creative teams and communities to build trust, innovate and develop shared purpose.

We help with:

  • Workplace wellbeing and team cohesion

  • Communication and leadership development

  • Creative thinking and innovation

  • Research and development

Formats

  • Workshops

  • Team Away Days

  • Creative Strategy Labs

  • Leadership programmes

Places Moving

Playable and skateable sculpture that reclaims public space for movement and connection.

We are a collective of engineers, project managers, movers and designers who work collaboratively with communities to design joyful structures for public life — spaces where play, creativity and belonging can thrive.

We help with:

  • Playable/skateable sculpture and spatial activation

  • Youth engagement through movement and design

  • Temporary and mobile movement installations

  • Community co-design and consultation

Approach

Our process is participatory and iterative, combining embodied research, spatial testing and technical design to ensure safety, delight and long-term use.

Power Moving

Embodied solidarity and creative freedom across borders.

We support artists and communities whose movement — physical or political — is restricted. We work particularly across Palestine and the Palestinian diaspora, collaborating with cultural workers to amplify stories, strengthen networks of care and protect the right to creative expression.

We work on:

  • Producing and supporting new creative work

  • Networking between artists and cultural workers in Palestine, the diaspora and with allies

  • Artist mobility and professional development

  • Skill-sharing and creative exchange initiatives
